Transition Committee
The Standing Committee of the Diocese of Alaska charges the Transition Committee with the following responsibilities:
- To work with and support Bishop Mark, his family, and the diocesan staff during the transition,
- To work with and support the transition of the Bishop-elect and her/his family into the Alaska episcopate,
- To make all arrangements for the celebration of the consecration and installation of the VIII Bishop of Alaska, and
- To work with the Presiding Bishop's office to plan the liturgy for the consecration, ordination, and installation of the bishop-elect.
